Women’s Connection will meet on February 8

FREMONT — Fremont Area Women’s Connection will meet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Victor Event Center, 2270 Hayes Ave. (formerly Anjulina’s).

All women are invited to attend the luncheon and enjoy the program which will include Donna McNemar, owner of Coco Beans Candy Cupcakes and More in downtown Fremont.

The guest speaker is Terri Sevinsky from Cleveland, who will share her story of being “a pessimistic optimist.” The cost of lunch is $14. Reservations are required by February 4 by calling or texting Donna at 419-680-2251 or emailing Carrol at [email protected]

BSA will present ‘Love Letters’

BELLEVUE — Bellevue Society for the Arts will present “Love Letters,” by AR Gurney, a unique and imaginative play of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, separated, but continued to share secrets.

As the actors read the letters aloud, what is created are a pair of evocative, touching, often funny but always revealing character studies in which what is implied is as revealing and meaningful as what is actually written.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on February 11, 12, 18, and 19 and at 2 p.m. on February 13 at the Hirt Theater of the Bellevue Society for the Arts, 205 Maple St.

Admission is $15 for adults 18 and older, $10 for adults 60 and older, and $5 for ages 17 and under (with discretion). Call 419-484-2787 for reservations. Now accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover, as well as Venmo. Online ticketing is currently not available.

Library to accommodate adult coloring and a slumber party with stuffed animals

CLYDE – Clyde Public Library will host Color and Chat from 2-3 p.m. on Thursday, February 3 and 10. Adults can enjoy coloring in a calm and relaxing environment. Materials are provided but clients can bring their own supplies.

The library will also be hosting its stuffed animal pajama party from 4-7 p.m. on February 4. Children of all ages are encouraged to wear pajamas and bring stuffed animals for an after-hours party. There will be a movie, food and crafts. Registration is required for the free event at 419-547-7174.
