The following people are wanted on arrest warrants, according to various sheriff’s departments. The addresses given are the last known addresses provided by the money orders and may be outdated.

• Kalie A. Gaines, 44, of 305 Brookside Drive is wanted on a warrant charging her with failing to appear in court for possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance.

She is a white female, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. She has blonde hair and hazel eyes.

• Penny S. Self, 60, of 802 S. Broadway St., Havana, is wanted on a warrant charging her with failing to appear in court for deceptive practice.

She is a white female, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 250 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Thomas M. Shelly, 27, homeless, was arrested at 4:23 p.m. Friday for breaching a restraining order.

• Destiny N. Law, 27, of 645 E. State St. was arrested at 11:48 a.m. Friday for retail theft after being charged with taking merchandise from Walmart, 1941 W. Morton Ave., without paying .

ACCIDENTS

• Brian L. White, 35, of Jacksonville was cited for failure to surrender and driving an uninsured motor vehicle after the vehicle he was driving and one driven by Lara L. Morrison, 52, of Jacksonville collided at 9:23 a.m. Friday to Greenbriar and Gardendale readers.

THEFT, BREAK-IN

• A backpack containing films, coloring books and markers was stolen from the 300 block of South Diamond Street at 1:06 p.m. Friday.

• A wallet was stolen around 5am on Friday of a vehicle in the 1000 block of Mathers Street. A window was damaged during the flight.

VANDALISM

• The storm door of a residence in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue was damaged around 1:50 am Friday.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Ronald C. Shrader, 63, of Plainville was arrested at 4:42 p.m. on July 15 for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia after the car he was driving was stopped on Highway 106 in Illinois at Hull. A passenger, Nancy L. Taylor, 52, of Plainville was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and on an Adams County warrant charging her with failing to appear in court for possession of methamphetamine.
