‘Grindstone’, ‘Sonic Forces’, ‘Genshin Impact’, ‘Injustice 2’, and more – TouchArcade

Hello everyone and welcome to the week! It’s time again to look back at the remarkable updates of the last seven days. Is it Easter already? We feel that Easter is approaching soon. Maybe some of today’s updates will be holiday related? I don’t know why I’m shy about it, I already know what’s in it. But you don’t, unless you re-read this article. In that case… thank you? Of course, you can keep an eye out for updates yourself by participating in the TouchArcade forums. This weekly summary is just here to fill you in on things you might have missed. Let’s go for that!

Final Fantasy VIit’s Pixel Remastering goes through the same process Final Fantasy V‘s done. Tons of bugs and unintended behaviors need to be found and fixed, one by one. This update addresses a number of them, especially those related to resources being consumed even when actions are undone. I’m sure more bugs will crop up, and this game will be back on these pages soon. Maybe one day they can identify all the major bugs and move on to do something about this font.

Crayola Create & Play+Hit both the Apple Arcade and the regular App Store version of Crayola Create and Play is this spring themed app update. There are all kinds of spring and Easter related activities, including coloring pages, pixel art, egg decorating, and more. This is just the start of a month of fun that will include Unicorn Week and a specific Easter event. Crayola rocks! Is that… is that still a slogan they use? Oh my God, I’m so disconnected anymore. Can someone find me my slippers? Where did I put my Morbius tickets?

grinding wheelA few weeks ago the Carnival of Creeps was added to grinding wheel. This week, the popular Apple Arcade puzzler received more levels for Carnival. To be very specific, there are fifteen new levels to play. There is also a new blueprint for the paint potion. I almost missed the ‘t’ in ‘Paint’ when I typed that, which would have been a very different sort of potion. Good anyway. New levels. Run and solve them now.

LEGO® Star Wars™: CastawaysOne of Apple Arcade Lego titles is getting a stunning new update that also introduces a new event based on Boba Fett’s Book. In fact, it introduces the event system as a concept to the game, which means it’s probably only the first of many such things. There are also new racetrack levels to tackle where you’ll team up with other players to take down enemies in various arenas. Just be careful not to end up like Sarlacc’s lunch. It’s a very real threat in the world of star wars. More likely than you think, really.

CSR 2 Drag Racing Car GamesApparently Free CSR Racing 2 returns to the ninth fast furious movie for another limited time event. Join the event to get your hands on a variety of cars from the film, with the top prize being the Pontiac Fiero. I think that one belonged to the character of Tyrese Gibson. There’s also the Jaguar XE SV Project 8, the Toyota GR Supra and the mid-engine Dodge Charger R/T. On top of that, there’s an Easter event with a Rocket Bunny Mazda RX-8 on offer, which as we all know is the Easter Bunny’s vehicle of choice. There are a few other things here, but I’ll let you figure them out for yourselves.

Sonic Forces – Racing BattleFree

sonic the hedgehog has a new movie coming out soon, and not only is it & tails but it is also & Joins. I mean, it’s coming out soon for most people. Hitting Japan in August because we’re living in the future and all that. Don’t think about it too much. Just as these new characters arrive in the universe of cinema, they also join the Sonic forces game universe in these film-specific forms. They are so soft! There’s also a new track related to this event, so jump on it and add these new characters to your collection. I will give this UMMSotW price for this week because if you squint really hard at Sonic and Knuckles, they kinda look like Spider-Man.

Genshin ImpactFree It’s time for one again Genshin Impact update. Title Purple Garden Zephyrthis latest version adds the new character Kamisato Ayato, a new event called Purple Garden Hues, a new area The Chasm, some new stories, a new weapon called Haran Geppaku Futsu, and a ferocious new monster Ruin Serpent. That should keep this rather devoted and passionate fanbase busy for a while. Wait, some people have already finished everything? How long? Oh, that soon. Well, I guess that’s how things go sometimes. Start waiting for the next update!

Merge the dragons!Free It’s been a long time since I’ve included Merge Dragons in these update articles, so what the heck, let’s take a look. I’m sure there are a few happenings going on, as there always seem to be with this game. Also, I can count it as the mandatory free matching puzzle update for this week. So, it looks like we have new dragon missions with new dragons to earn. There are also apparently magic orbs and special parachutes to put on your mitts. So I guess there is are not all the events that are happening, and I look like a complete clod. Sigh, Mondays.

mortal combatWe’ll wrap things up by reviewing the active pair of free fighters from WB Games, as they both received updates this week. In mortal combat, Diamond MK11 Fujin arrives to join his brother in battle. He wields the wind, and you might find some merit in adding him to teams containing Raiden and other Elder Gods. With it comes the Elder Wind Tower and the Elder Wind Equipment. The Diamond variants of Nightwolf and Erron Black also get their brutalities in this update. Along with the new content, there are also some UI improvements, including one that lets you save and load your favorite talent comps at your leisure. Cared for.

Injustice 2Free You know, when I saw this updated game I thought it must be connected to The Batman. But this is not the case. Instead, we have another DC character Black Nights: Metal series. Batwoman The Drowned is a new Gold character specializing in Debuffs and Hazards. She’s great for debuffing opponents, and she can use a full Crisis Energy meter to activate her Ultimate Hydrokinesis, flooding the entire area and resurrecting her metal teammates. I wonder if we’ll ever see something this new Batman browse? It looks like a missed opportunity, but deeper cuts like these aren’t bad either.

That’s about it for the important updates for the past week. I’m sure I missed a few, so feel free to comment below and let everyone know if you think anything should be mentioned. As usual, major updates will likely have their own news throughout this week, and I’ll be back next Monday to recap and fill in the blanks. Have a good week!
