RACINE – In order to vaccinate more of its population, the town of Racine is organizing a holiday-themed vaccination campaign with a cash incentive as well.
Kids and parents can get vaccinated, meet Santa Claus, and get coloring books and candy canes. For Racine residents, including those aged 5 to 11, they are eligible for a $ 50 gift card.
“With school over on Wednesday, the public health department thought we would invite Santa to host a fun, kid-focused vaccination clinic to kick off the holiday season. We know people are planning to travel and have rallies to celebrate the holidays this year, and the safest way to do that is for adults AND children to get vaccinated. Plus, city residents ages 5 and up can receive the $ 50 incentive, which is a great way for kids to earn cash to buy gifts for their parents this year, ”Dottie -Kay Bowersox, Town of Racine Public Health Officer, mentioned.
This takes place at 730 Washington Ave on November 24. This will last from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and anyone 5 years of age and older is eligible. Only residents of the Town of Racine can obtain the $ 50 gift card. We encourage you to register before you go. Click here to join.
