Ravalli County Republican Women’s Club will hold its monthly meeting and dinner at 11:30 am at BJ’s restaurant in Hamilton. Guest speakers will be Dr. Al Olszewski and Mary Todd, both candidates for Montana’s new seat of Representative in the United States. Others were invited but did not respond or had other commitments. It will be a mini discussion forum. Ravalli County Republican Women meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

Free family activity: Fossils and footprints. Choose from a variety of replica fossils and pre-made animal tracks to paint the color of your choice. Hamilton Soroptimists Scholarship Deadline, Hamilton Soroptimists has over $25,000 for scholarships for women in trades, technical, undergraduate and graduate education, training and certification programs. Footloose Montana trap dropping workshop at the North Valley Public Library from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Practice releasing traps and snares with hands-on experience. Learn about current trapping regulations and how to identify potential traps as well as how to avoid them. Learn what tools to take with you on the hike and basic first aid if your pet gets caught in a trap.
