i’m a HUGE FTLO trip passionate. I was on the Greek islands, Croatia, and Trips to the Amalfi Coast and Puglia, and I have already booked the Barcelona and the south of France tour for next summer. Take all my money, FTLO! No, but really. I made friends on all three trips and had various moments of my life. These trips take you on insider activities like boating to different caves and beaches, taking a cooking class with a local chef, walking around medieval towns and well, jumping into a natural pool at the cave of the poetry in Roca Vecchia, Italy, as you see me doing here this summer. You could figure out a lot of this on your own i guess but it would pose a lot of problems for imo and you might be limited in transport and private tour possibilities due to the number of people in your party. In case you were wondering, there is also built-in free time for the tour and people often add a few days before or after their FTLO trip to further explore the area. This summer I added a week in Italy after my trip to the Amalfi Coast and Puglia to explore Rome, Florence and Venice. Do you know who joined me? My friend (also named Elizabeth!) Whom I met while traveling to the Greek Islands in the summer of 2019.
I could go on and on, but I won’t and instead let you explore the FTLO site yourself for inspiration and travel information. And if you’re interested in something a little longer, check out SOJRN, which is like a modern on-board study for adults.
